Quana has always possessed a passion for hair. At the tender age of 5 Quana learned how to braid and later became a kitchen beautician styling all of her friends and family as a side hustle. Quana was always known for her unique skills in “freestyle” braids, flat twists, curls and wash n sets. This marked the beginning of what would become her career in entrepreneurship. In 2012, after what seemed to be the end of her journey as a medical assistant, Quana found herself indulging in what she knew best…HAIR.
Quana began working from home and immediately enrolled herself into cosmetology school. She worked tirelessly attending class during the day and slaying clients at night. The hustle and thrill of seeing the joy in each clients face encompassed her and gave that extra drive to keep going no matter how tired she was. Quana has built a strong foundation of returning clientele by gaining trust and learning exactly what clients want and executing it. She prides herself in being a hairstylist that offers on time elite service to all guests that grace her chair. After working from home for 6 years, in September of 2019, Quana opened her first Storefront Hair salon in the very neighborhood that raised her in the South Bronx. Later relocating to Danbury Connecticut creating another Salon Experience in her new location,The Hair Loft which is a Loft style private salon. The Hair Loft is where Q Moné Collection was born. July 2023 Quana created a hair product line that will blow the minds of all patrons that indulge. The product line screams high end, luxury and gives your hair results of flawless, silky, shiny, healthy hair that flows while it grows.
This black girl has sprinkled her magic and created her own lane within this hair industry and has a whole lot to offer.
